Host an enchanted evening for the family, with little pieces of magic scattered through the dining room. 

Bringing the Magic to Life

• Windows & Ambiance: Create a lattice effect on your windows using black electrical tape. They give the look of a little witch cottage in the woods, and the shadows they cast bring a little extra whimsy to the room.

• Natural Elements: Hang faux snaking vines, spiderweb, or fake ravens to give an old, forgotten, witchy vibe.  Pull out stones, pinecones, or any tiny treasures your kids have collected. Displaying these little finds will bring excitement to the kids and bring personality to your tablescape.

• Twinkle & Glow: Mix candles, small lamps, and twinkle lights for a warm, magical glow.

• Table & Setting: Layer textures with natural linens and spooky plates and cauldron bowls to create a whimsical, relaxed atmosphere.

Soup and Magic

• Cooking Magic: Serve soup in mini cauldrons to add a playful, witchy touch. Let the kids help make the soup to add to the magic, or let them add the spices at the dinner table and stir the “potion”.

• Manifestation Made Magical: Introduce a light, playful way to practice intention. Have each child pick one simple thing to manifest—like a fun adventure, a happy moment, or a small wish—and write or draw it on a piece of paper. Then, play the “Manifestation Game: Butterflies.” Each person chooses a sign to watch for—like butterflies, birds, hearts, or feathers—and sets a short window of a few days to notice it. The goal isn’t just spotting the sign, it’s paying attention to the world around them. The important thing is that you look and listen. You’ll miss every sign you’re sent if your eyes are closed. This game turns ordinary moments into little enchanted adventures.
