Crafting Hearts Together







Materials

  • Clear school glue

  • Black acrylic paint

  • Contact paper or laminating sheets

  • Markers

  • Printed or hand-drawn heart template










Instructions


  • Mix equal parts white glue and black acrylic paint.


  • Draw a heart with sectioned lines (like stained glass) or print one out. I searched “stained glass heart” on Google Images and let the kids choose their favorite design.


  • Place the contact or laminate paper over the heart template. Trace the lines using the black glue mixture.


  • Allow it to dry completely (this part takes patience!).


  • Once dry, color in each section with markers. Brighter colors show up best in the sunlight.


  • Cut around the heart and tape it to a sunny window to enjoy.
